Physical Therapy Assistant Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
Interim HealthCare- Maine is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Berwick ME. This role involves working closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care to patients assisting with treatment plans and supporting patient mobility and recovery in a compassionate and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home care techniques.
- Maintain a safe clean and organized treatment environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Maine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
