Job Description
Department of Health Division of Nutrition Temp Services Position Nutritionist
Hours: M-F / 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Desired Experience
- Planning and conducting public health and/or nutrition education programs to assist in health promotion.
- Developing training and resource materials related to nutrition assessment nutrition education and related health services.
- Assisting in the development of new program policies and/or the revision of existing policies based on specific regulations such as USDA Federal regulations.
- Providing programmatic guidance and technical assistance.
- Registered Dietitian with The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or has completed an accredited nutrition and dietetics internship program and is eligible for Registration.
- Experience working for a Federally-funded nutrition program such as Women Infants and Children (WIC).
- Experience working in a governmental setting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Software including Outlook Excel SharePoint Word Access and PowerPoint.
