ABOUT SACRAMENTO REPUBLIC FCSacramento Republic FC (SRFC) is one of the premier clubs in the USL Championship. Since 2014 the club has reflected the indomitable nature of Californias Capital City breaking league records year over year winning the championship in its inaugural season and sparking a regional passion for soccer. Owned and managed by a joint venture partnership between Wilton Rancheria and Kevin Nagle the club will continue to invest in the city with plans to build a Downtown soccer-specific stadium that will redefine entertainment in the growing and evolving Sacramento region. Along with its partners Republic FC is committed to supporting various community investment programs to serve the city use its platform to drive impact and success on and off the field and operate the regions only youth-to-pro soccer development academy while also supporting the development of youth soccer players throughout Northern California.
ROLE SUMMARY - PREMIUM SALES MANAGER (REPUBLIC STADIUM)
As Sacramento Republic FC prepares to open their new Railyards Stadium were building a world-class premium sales team to match. The Premium Sales Manager will be a key driver in launching the most expansive premium seating portfolio in club history featuring all-new luxury suites loge boxes club seats and elevated hospitality products never before offered by Republic FC.
In this role you will lead high-value B2B sales efforts focused on companies executives and high net worth individuals. Youll be responsible for generating significant new revenue through a high volume of face-to-face meetings strategic prospecting and strong relationship development.
To help bring the Railyards Stadium vision to life the club is opening a state-of-the-art Stadium Experience Center in downtown Sacramento. You will be one of the primary storytellers in this space leveraging immersive presentations virtual stadium tours and premium product showcases to close major deals and shape the future of Republic FCs premium business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell multi-year suite and loge box agreements to C-Level executives and/or key decision makers of corporations high net worth individuals via outbound sales calls face-to-face appointments and presentations.
- Prospect potential new clients via phone email internet social media self-prospecting and provided lead lists.
- Execute and lead dynamic sales presentations both on-site within the experience center and offsite at prospect locations throughout the Northern California region.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and future clients to grow prospect pool and increase selling opportunities.
- Represent SRFC at local networking community and corporate events to generate awareness excitement and sales leads throughout the Northern California Region.
- Consistently and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline while providing updates and forecasts to SRFC executive leadership.
- Utilizes HubSpot (CRM) system to manage accounts pipelines sales process and activity.
- Create track develop and maintain all proposals research contracts and follow all suite sales processes diligently.
- Candidate will be held accountable for elite levels of activity appointment goals closed sales goals while maintaining a high level of integrity and sales leadership.
- Due to the nature of this project the candidate must be willing to work non-traditional hours weekends and SRFC match days.
- Candidate should be a self-starter that possesses an optimistic team-first attitude as well as the competitive desire to be the best.
- Clearly and effectively communicate personally and professionally within all levels of a company both internally and externally.
- Represent Sacramento Republic FC at all home games and various events to support ticket sales and premium efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Must have 3 years of sales experience; prior experience selling six and seven figure suite deals in sports and entertainment is strongly preferred.
- History of top Premium/B2B revenue production for a sports and/or entertainment organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and oral.
- Exceptional organization and pipeline management skills.
- Skilled in setting and running sales meetings with ability to effectively pitch and present premium products.
- Deep knowledge of the corporate sector and demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders in the market.
- Local market knowledge is a plus.
- Must be able to work collaboratively across all departments and have a team-first mentality.
- Must be able to work irregular hours evenings weekends events and holidays as required.
- Proficient in Unify or Archtics Salesforce or HubSpot CRM Canva Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation with ability to consistently travel to offsite client meetings.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Working Environment: SRFC Front Office (Sacramento CA) onsite
- Travel Requirements: Limited but requires flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
