Position SummaryThe Primary Teacher (Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten) is responsible for creating a nurturing engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the social emotional physical and cognitive growth of young children. The teacher fosters curiosity independence and a love of learning while building strong relationships with students families and ResponsibilitiesCreate a safe inclusive and joyful classroom environment where every child feels seen valued and supportedDesign and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood best practices and school philosophySupport students social-emotional development including self-regulation problem-solving and positive peer interactionsObserve document and assess student growth using formative assessments and anecdotal recordsDifferentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of studentsEstablish consistent routines and clear expectations to promote independence and confidenceCommunicate regularly and effectively with families through conferences written reports and informal check-insCollaborate closely with teaching team Maintain a well-organized classroom that encourages exploration creativity and hands-on learningModel kindness respect patience and enthusiasm for learning
