With a closeknit communityoriented culture and a small but dedicated team the company is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee sales service coordination customer relationships and shop supportensuring smooth daily operations and continued highquality service as the business grows.
YOUR DAY TO DAY:
- Oversee daily sales activities including engaging with customers identifying equipment needs and promoting agricultural equipment and related product lines.
- Coordinate and manage service work underway in the shop to ensure timely completion and smooth workflow.
- Provide mechanical guidance and support to apprentices and shop staff ensuring highquality repair and maintenance standards.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships including reaching out to existing clients and developing new business.
- Support parts coordination and ensure proper communication between parts service and sales functions.
- Attend periodic offsite training sessions offered by product manufacturers (within Ontario Quebec or the United States).
- Maintain a strong presence onsite to support staff address operational needs and uphold the companys closeknit handson culture.
- Assist with the onboarding mentoring and development of mechanical apprentices as they progress toward certification.
- Collaborate with owners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between sales service and operational goals.
- Contribute to sourcing equipment vendor communications and understanding supplier systems as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Strong mechanical knowledge of agricultural equipment with the ability to guide and support shop staff (425A or 421A preferred).
- Experience in equipment sales or customerfacing sales roles (agriculture preferred).
- Knowledge of farming and farm equipment including familiarity with agricultural operations.
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to supervise mentor and support team members.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with staff customers and suppliers.
- High degree of honesty reliability and work ethic to support a small closeknit team environment.
- Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to adapt to business needs.
- Basic computer proficiency particularly with Microsoft Office; ability to learn supplier and internal systems.
- Local or reasonably local residency given the onsite nature of the role and communityfocused operations.
- Ability to travel periodically for manufacturer training as required.
