Job Summary

We are seeking a collaborative and student-centered leader to serve as High School Assistant Principal for the school year. Under the direction of the Principal this position supports the overall administration and instructional leadership of the high school including student supervision and safety attendance master scheduling support discipline student activities and daily school operations. The High School Assistant Principal assists in supervising and evaluating staff supporting curriculum and instructional programs coordinating school safety and emergency preparedness and fostering a positive inclusive and well-managed campus environment that promotes high levels of student engagement and achievement.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Evidence of successful secondary teachingand/or administrative experience.
  • An advanced degree with emphasis in administration supervision and curriculum development or satisfactory evidence of progress toward the same.
  • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential or a valid California Administrative Services Certificate of Eligibility

Salary

$148166 to $169195 (To start yearly based on full-time assignment. Part-time assignments will be prorated)

  • Pay dependent on experience
  • Credit for previous management experience will be given consideration toward initial placement on the management salary schedule.

Length of Work Year

2026-27 School Year - 210 work days
