We are seeking an Operations Supervisor in Oakley CA!

3rd shift: 9pm-5:30am

Weekend availability is required. You will have 2 days off during the week.

JOBSUMMARY:

The Operations Supervisormonitorsalloperations including butnot limited to; Process shipments prepare paperworkcommunicate freightstatusanddispatch supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services customers sales systemoperationsand vendors and provide quality customer service while meeting company policies and procedures.

EssentialFunctions:

• Responsibleforongoingprocessanalysisofoperationalsystemsproceduresandstaffingtodrive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist District Manager with general tasks

• Responsibleforensuringsafe operationsaswellascompliance withallOSHAregulations all applicable laws and Pilots Corporate Policies

• Effectivelytrainsupervisecoachandevaluatealldirectreportstofostergoodcommunicationsandmorale

• Reviewsoperationalkeyperformancemeasuresmonthlyaswellasbenchmarkingdatatodriveany required correctional or improvement strategies

• CommunicatingfreightstatusandanyproblemstocustomersvendorsandotherPilotstationsandpersonnel

• Freight handlingviaforklift

• Load/Off-loadbuildtrucksforoptimalrouting

• Otherdutiesasassigned
