The primary purpose of this role with an APAC focus is to fully participate in the planning delivery and support of HCM technology solutions across the P&C function. This is an important step in our transformation journey as we look to enhance our capabilities in this space manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the functions of Finance and Technology.
Youll work across several P&C technologies with Workday HCM as the primary focus our system-of-record for all employees across APAC.
The Senior HCM Systems Specialist People & Culture is a highly collaborative role working with the various members in the People Technology & Insights team the broader P&C cross-functional teams as well as with third-party vendors.
You will be designing and implementing requirements in (but not limited to) Workday Core HCM Absence Compensation Advanced Compensation and Performance modules.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the P&C technology ecosystem in partnership with Finance and Technology teams as well as third-party vendors including the Application Management Services provider
- Serve as a consultative partner with P&C and business stakeholders to continuously improve service delivery gathering requirements and acting as a subject matter expert on Workday capabilities
- Configure Workday modules including Absence Core HCM Performance Compensation and Advanced Compensation using strong functional design skills
- Participate in prioritising and delivering work applying continuous improvement frameworks to existing business processes
- Solve problems and manage defect resolutions triaging and escalations whilst providing day-to-day system support and administration
- Develop and lead policy and process training promote continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team and with stakeholders
- Test integrations and security features to maintain system integrity
- Identify opportunities to automate standardise and simplify P&C processes using systems workflows and AI
Qualifications :
- Proven experience configuring Workday modules including Absence and Core HCM; Talent and Compensation experience highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and planning capability with ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into pragmatic digital solutions
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple countries and cross-functional teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various business scenarios
- Proactive self-starting approach with strong ownership
- Strong understanding of end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
- Experience applying design thinking and journey mapping to technology solutions (highly valued but not essential)
- Strong problem solving troubleshooting and analytical skills with Agile project management experience
- Understanding of data governance and data management frameworks; familiarity with tools such as JIRA Confluence Trello Miro and Slack
