About the Role
Are you a data-driven problem solver who loves translating complex numbers into real-world operational success As our Workforce Planning and insights Specialist you will be the engine behind the Simpler for Stores initiative. Youll ensure that the business understand the complexities and opportunities that can drive productivity and profitability in our 350 sites with 12000 team members which will in turn ensure exceptional customer experiences.

You will be a strategic partner to our Operations teams helping them navigate budgets seasonal forecasting dynamic trend changes and productivity improvements through actionable insights.

Were moving toward a simpler store model but the math behind it is anything but simple. We need someone who understands that managing labor isnt about the average - its about managing the variance. Were looking for a pro who uses standard deviation to build risk-adjusted models that account for the volatility in working hours across our footprint.

  • Scale: Influence the productivity of 12000 employees by narrowing the gap between planned vs. actual hours.
  • Tech-Forward: Use SQL Tableau and Python to move beyond flat forecasting into probabilistic labor simulations.
  • Visibility: Youll be the subject matter expert coaching Brand Finance and Operationss leaders on how to interpret volatility and stabilize labor spend.


Key Responsibilities

  • Labour Modeling: support with the build of bottom-up labor budgets for 350 sites using engineered labour standards.
  • Insightful Reporting: Create present and implement simplified high-impact reporting to help Operations teams identify anomalies trends costs and efficiency opportunities as well as drive the link between workforce mix and strategy.
  • Forecasting: Project workforce requirements for major seasonal events and long-term business cycles.
  • Stakeholder Coaching: Partner with and coach Brand Finance and Operations teams on workforce planning best practices.
  • Productivity Optimization: Use data to identify performance gaps and support initiatives that make store operations simpler.

Qualifications :

Now lets talk about you: 

  • Experience: 5 years in operational workforce planning (Retail or Hospitality experience is a huge plus).
  • Technical Skills: Advanced analytical and modeling skills. Proficiency in SQL and Tableau is essential; experience with Python or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is highly desired.
  • Education: A Bachelors Degree in Finance Commerce Engineering or a related field.
  • Business Acumen: The ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements awards and wage reporting to drive productivity.
  • Communication: A knack for presenting data to cross-functional stakeholders in a way that is easy to understand and act upon.
