We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Worker to join our team in Chester United this role you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing existing systems equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and functional work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate efficiency professionalism and a commitment to quality workmanship while performing a variety of maintenance tasks across our facility.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules to extend equipment lifespan
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff and management
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs completed and parts used
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and OSHA standards while performing duties
- Perform general facility upkeep including cleaning painting and minor construction tasks
- Collaborate with other team members and external contractors when necessary
- Report hazardous conditions and recommend improvements to facility safety and efficiency
- Operate and maintain various landscape equipment and grounds
- Assist with snow removal and shoveling
Qualifications :
**Required Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance facilities management or related field
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining hand and power tools
- Knowledge of basic electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly and work at heights when necessary
- Valid drivers license
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must have reliable transportation
