Java Software Architect

• Work with US-based clients and Vietnam development team to understand business needs and develop technical solutions for enterprise applications
• Lead the offshore development center ensure the understanding and compliance of offshore engineers to the product vision and technical direction
• Accountable for leading the development team to maintain improve code quality maintainability of the software suite and achieve other operational goals for the software suite (i.e. ease of deployment CI/CD ready)
• Participate in software architecture and design activities with both the clients technical leaders and KMS onshore/offshore make technical decisions for the development of the applications
• Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Perform estimate or estimate reviews
• Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
• Participate in solving challenging technical issues and providing other technical support to our end users as needed.

Qualifications :

General requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• At least upper intermediate level of English and the ability to present to clients technical leaders and executive team as well as participating online conferences in English
• Likely having 5 years of experience depending on how fast of your learning and developing technical capability
• Strong knowledge of various technologies platforms and architectural patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiar with Agile development methodologies (Scrum XP Kanban)
• Able to obtain deep knowledge of the projects technologies
• Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies

Technical requirements:

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Strong experience with JAVA web-based technologies: Spring (Spring Core Spring MVC Spring Security Spring Data Spring Boot) and ORM (JPA Hibernate)
• Experience with database design and SQL (e.g. SQL Server Oracle MySQL).
• Experience with web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and front-end frameworks (e.g. ReactJS Angular VueJS KnockoutJS)
• Performs effectively & independently in software implementation activities (designing coding verification unit testing integration testing and debugging)
• Experience with large-scale web-based applications  setting up CI/CD pipelines and web security issues.
• Has basic & discrete knowledge of software requirements and software testing
• Experience in microservices and cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GCP)
