Primary job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Process and enter hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) laboratory and case data in NBS (surveillance system)
- Review and manage assigned surveillance and document review queues
- Apply CDC/CSTE case definitions to determine case status
- Identify acute reinfection perinatal infant and fetal death cases
- Perform routine data cleaning and quality assurance
- Process paper electronic and orphaned laboratory reports
- Resolve data discrepancies and incomplete records
- Coordinate medical record requests as assigned
- Communicate data issues and notable findings to the team leader
- Participate in required meetings training and team activities
Contractor Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; data entry or data systems experience and medical or public health knowledge preferred
