Job Summary
A Trades I - Plumber supports resort operations by performing plumbing tasks including projects preventive maintenance and work orders.
As a Trades I - Plumber you will:
- Perform engineering projects guest calls blitzes and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
- Execute daily plumbing tasks and assigned projects while supporting other trades as needed
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems operation installation troubleshooting repairs and replacements
- Install residential water fixtures including toilets faucets valves water heaters and appliances
- Diagnose and unclog toilets tubs Jacuzzis showers faucets and sinks
- Assist with preliminary plumbing connections for domestic sanitary stormwater and fire safety systems
- Repair leaks using CPVC PVC PEX copper cast iron and black steel pipes
- Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals effectively
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site
- Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS)
- Communicate professionally through radios phones emails and verbal interactions
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management
- Safely use hand tools power tools and battery-powered tools needed for plumbing work
- Work using ladders scaffolding lifts dust masks and in confined or narrow spaces
- Follow safety guidelines and practices
- Identify and report potential hazards on the property
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance attire and behavior
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership

Qualifications :
- Technical certification or plumbing license preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to various tasks perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently
- Must have a valid drivers license
- must lift move push or pull up to 50 pounds
