What youll do:
As a Technical Director Level Design you will play a key role in designing and optimizing technical tools and processes related to Level Design.
Define the technical direction for Level Design
Set up production pipelines in collaboration with technical and creative teams
Oversee and support project teams on technical aspects related to Level Design / World Building
Contribute to writing technical documentation particularly regarding tools and pipelines used
Stay informed about new technical developments in the industry to anticipate changes and integrate them into projects
Act as the main technical point of contact for teams ensuring smooth communication between departments

Key skills for this position
Technical:
Significant experience in technical Level Design
Proficiency with multiple game engines (e.g. Unreal) and their Level Design tools
In-depth knowledge of production pipelines and data management tools
Strong understanding of technical and artistic constraints in Level Design
Experience in performance optimization and technical debugging
Ability to write clear and accessible technical documentation
Reliability & Ownership
You understand project constraints and deliver within production timelines
You are proactive and autonomous managing your responsibilities end-to-end without constant supervision
