Epworth Rehabilitation is seeking registered and enrolled nurses with acute or rehabilitation experience to join Epworth on a fixed-term contract until 20/12/2026.
Working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will join a patient-centred team caring for patients who are recovering from surgery or illness or needing support to maximise their independence. Rehabilitation helps patients recover from an illness injury or surgical procedure manage a chronic illness or prevent further injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives.
You will make an impact by:
- Being a key part of a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomes
- Assisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyle
- Working with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferences
- Maintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care
To be successful in this role:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute aged or rehabilitation nursing
- Experienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes either from a rehab or acute setting.
- Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation care
- Confident communicator you have a supportive engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff patients and their families
