Job Summary

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

routine quality control testing of incoming raw materials (RM) in-process materials and outgoing finish goods and where necessary provide QC disposition to all concerned departments

2. Conduct monthly QC testing of finished goods and report results to QC/R&D Manager.

3. Evaluate alternative raw material samples submit report and update RM alternatives monitoring file.

4. Participate in Product knowledge test and display competence in evaluating raw data of tests conducted.

5. Prepare and submit reports on status of other assigned projects to the QC/R&D Manager at the specified deadlines.

6. Prepares necessary certifications as required by clients during product delivery.

7. Maintain cleanliness of workstation equipment and laboratory.

Qualifications :

Education:

BS Chemistry or any chemistry-related course duly recognized by the Board of Chemistry

Professional License:

Registered Chemical Technician Registered Chemist

Work Experience:

1 - 2 years experience in quality control lab preferably in a construction chemical or coatings industry

Skills:

Can operate general laboratory equipment: viscometer balances pH meter

Computer literate (MS Word MS Excel MS Powerpoint)

Good analytical and interpersonal skills

Laboratory testing skills

Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (Balances pH meter viscometer moisture analyzer)
