Qualifications
- Kansas teaching license with the appropriate Special Education endorsement (or ability to obtain)
- Ability to design and implement individualized instruction
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to collaboration and student-centered learning
Essential Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging individualized instruction to meet student needs
- Use effective teaching strategies and adjust instruction based on student progress
- Assess student abilities monitor progress and provide regular reports
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow state statutes school board policies and district regulations
- Attend meetings serve on committees and complete assigned duties
- Maintain accurate records and ensure student safety and well-being
- Stay current on best instructional practices including educational technology
