Controls Technician 2nd Shift
$26.00 $38.00 per hour
Full-Time 2nd Shift
We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician to support our 2nd shift manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for installing troubleshooting and repairing electrical hydraulic pneumatic and PLC-controlled production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
Install troubleshoot and repair electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Maintain and repair industrial production equipment including assembly cells conveyors robots and test stands
Diagnose equipment issues using HMI and PLC systems (Allen Bradley RS Logix 500 & 5000)
Perform PLC and robot programming and troubleshooting
Install and wire control panels for new equipment
Replace faulty components such as relays switches motors sensors and drives
Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule
Start and test machinery to verify performance
Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures
Initiate purchase requisitions for parts and assist with facility maintenance as needed
Collaborate with maintenance mechanics electricians and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues
Qualifications
Associates degree or technical certification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
Advanced training or experience in:
Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals
Experience writing basic reports and documentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in a manufacturing or automated production environment required
Preferred Skills
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Required
Robot programming and diagnostics
Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Report writing and documentation
