Job Summary
Principal Field Service Technician - ROV Supervisor
Location: Aberdeen Scotland
Approach: Various a mixture of flexible office/workshop dutiescombined with near and offshore operationsas
Contract: Permanent full-time
Wearelooking for apioneeringROVSupervisortoleadourAutonomous Subsea Robotics (ASV)Field Service Teamwithin Incubation. You will be working with the latest technologies to test iterate andoperateour fleet ofROVs toensure they exceed customer expectations.
What you can expect
Prepare leadand executetestingplans forourROVplatforms supporting the move fromR&D testing to real-world hardening and capability development.
Provide real-worldexperience-basedfeedback to R&D teams tostrengthen the ongoing development of ourROVplatforms.
ConductROVtesting and deployments in a variety of locationssuch astest tankslakesand the open oceanto build up operational strengthin various conditions.
Work closely with customers to support the definition of their project requirements.
Providetechnicalsupportand knowledgeto tendering teamsto support bidsandultimately deliverthe solution to the customer.
Support the growth of the operational team provideadditionaltraining for new capabilities that you have helped develop ensuringwealways deliver our best solution.
Take aleadingrole in the ownership of ourROVplatforms instilling a high levelof care in the rest of the teamto keep vehiclesmaintainedand reliable.
Ensure that allROVactivities from the workshop to the worksite are conducted with the highest level of consideration for Quality HealthSafetyand the Environment.
What you bring
An evidenced background inROVSupervisoryroles working with systems such asRovtechValorSeaeyeCougaror Argus Rover Compact systems in nearshore and offshore environments.
Evidence of experience integration sensors spreads toROVplatforms
Evidence of experiencemaintainingand repairingROVplatforms
A strong desireto be at the forefront willing to trynew ideaseven if the outcomeis notcertainwhile keeping a keen eye on operational safety
An ability to communicate complex technical information to audiences who may not be technically minded
UK Citizenshipand able to travel globally
UK Driving Licence
