Your goal
As a Data Engineer at Marktlink you will play a key role in building a single source of truth for our organization. You will develop and maintain a reliable and scalable data platform that supports BI solutions Machine Learning applications and strategic decision-making. By integrating multiple data sources and aligning them with the businesss information needs you will lay the foundation for a data-driven organization that can make decisions based on facts insights and real-time value dynamics.

Your responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at Marktlink your tasks will include:
Developing and maintaining a future-proof data platform from scratch including ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory Synapse Databricks and Azure SQL Database.
Integrating structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources using both batch and streaming methods.
Ensuring high data quality reliability and platform performance to enable real-time insights and decision-making.
Contributing to the future structure and growth of the AI team.
Job requirements
Your profile
You hold a degree in a technical field such as Computer Science Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
You have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a commercial environment.
You have extensive experience with Azure Data Factory Data Lake SQL and Azure DevOps.
You are proficient in Databricks and have experience with Python SQL and PySpark for data processing and modelling.
You are familiar with version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD in Azure.
You have an affinity for machine learning data analysis and AI applications. You can translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
A Microsoft certification as an Azure Data Engineer is a plus.
Fluency in Dutch is required for this role.
