As a Proposal Writer you will be responsible for collaboration and communication of Netskopes vision and product/service offerings to potential and current customers. Our ideal candidate is someone who excels in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and who is comfortable working under multiple tight deadlines. The Proposal Writer/Coordinator must have excellent written and verbal communication skills must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced/self-starter environment and has a keen eye for detail. Ultimately the Proposal Writer/Coordinator is solely responsible to ensure the required documentation is delivered according to customer instruction within the deadlines established.
Responsibilities include:
As a Netskope Proposal Writer you are responsible for:
- Reviewing large amounts of documentation (RFP RFI Security assessment) in detail to understand customer requirements desired scope etc.
- Coordinating meetings with internal sales team members to discuss the requirements.
- Collaborating cross-departmentally with SMEs and Executive-level team members to collect and write information for responses to customer inquiries.
- Maintaining a database of content.
- Ensuring that the content being delivered back to the customer is accurate well-written and aligned with Netskopes brand messaging.
- Having an understanding of Netskopes product and service offerings
- Taking complex technical ideas and writing content that is easy to comprehend by customers reducing technical jargon internal Netskope abbreviations etc.
- Copy editing and formatting of documentation using Microsofts product suite
- Performs ongoing reviews of the proposal process to identify proposal process efficiencies
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field in proposal management proposal development and the direct management of proposal operational organizations
- Strong consulting and interpersonal skills. Viewed as a trusted business partner by key clients and stakeholders. Ability to develop custom messages that balance subject matter expertise with client-specific needs.
- Develops collaborative relationships with peers team members and stakeholders.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization including senior leadership; strong group facilitation and presentation skills including development and delivery.
- Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to analyze data identify trends problem solve and develop and communicate actionable recommendations.
- Superior attention to detail is a must.
- Proactive self-starter with strong understanding of resources processes and guidelines. Independently makes decisions and develops recommendations.
- Remains calm and focused under pressure and adapts well to change e.g. tight deadlines.
- commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times.
- Familiarity with industry-standard proposal management tools (Loopio Ariba etc.) is a must.

- Whatever it takes attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to assist the sales teams
- Self-motivated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and meet aggressive timelines/deadlines; must be flexible and willing to work outside of normal business hours when required
- Light travel may be required
- Strong editing knowledge using Microsoft product suite
