Are you interested in becoming the delivery lead for multiple digital product teams across multiple geographical locations in Denmark & US ensuring focus and progress towards desired outcomes

Core Responsibilities

  • Take on direct responsibility of your department including engineers leaders product teams technology budgets and output
  • Act as delivery lead for multiple product teams across multiple geographical locations in Denmark & US ensuring focus and progress towards desired outcomes
  • Participate in a multi-functional leadership team to drive delivery and execution in your area in alignment with product and design to ensure everyones success through your product teams
  • Ensure the design and implementation of coherent and robust architecture that aligns to company direction and principles
  • Act in the role of People leader focusing on people development motivation and satisfaction
  • Continuously formulate and communicate the technical direction within the area and tie it to people development and training
  • Foster a collaborative environment for your product team enabling them to release their potential
  • Be an active driver and contributor in your leaders leadership team supporting both your immediate leader and leader colleagues allowing them to succeed grow and thrive

The Creator and AFOL Technology department is responsible for delivering a broad set of experiences and tools supporting both our internal product design processes as well as our consumer-facing experiences for adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs).

In this role you will be working with and supporting our product teams on LEGO BrickLink. Here we are on a journey of modernizing the foundation of the site to support an ambitious growth journey. You will collaborate with multiple business partners product managers designers and leaders to support value creation quality and flow on those teams.

Do you have what it takes

  • 10 years of documented experience from a digital engineering position
  • 5 years of documented experience working as people or team lead in the digital space
  • Understanding of agile methodologies and experience working with or on agile development teams
  • Experience driving cross team solution architecture from creation to implementation
  • Superb communication leadership coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • Solid partner management competencies
  • Travel between locations in the US and Denmark is a requirement

Furthermore it would be useful if you bring:

  • Delivery focused approach that value efficient and agile product implementation over process heavy project execution
  • Knowledge of -or hands on experience with cloud services and cloud native architecture
  • Not foreign to concepts like continuous delivery DevOps serverless architecture and domain driven design
  • Prior documented experience working with software product development as a product owner tech lead or similar

Proactively seeks interaction and cooperation with others and frequently conducts presentations across/shares knowledge.
