The Vet Office specialist veterinary recruitment agency is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Surgical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established award-winning veterinary group operating across Greater London.
This is a newly created leadership role offering the opportunity to work across three modern practices all easily accessible within 30 minutes of central London by public transport (or approximately 45 minutes by car).
This position is ideally suited to an Advanced Practitioner (AVP) Surgical Senior Vet or certificate holder in orthopaedics seeking a dynamic multi-site leadership role.
With over 12000 active registered clients across the London sites there is an immediate and substantial caseload for:
In-house orthopaedic procedures
Advanced soft tissue surgery
Complex surgical cases
Development of internal referral services
There is also strong potential to expand the surgical offering and attract external referrals.
The Surgical Lead will:
Deliver excellence in clinical and surgical care
Provide mentorship and training to colleagues
Integrate seamlessly across multiple teams
Build strong relationships with clients and patients
Support the development of surgical services across the region
While the role is surgically biased it will also include:
Morning and afternoon consultations
Post-operative checks
Dedicated daily administrative time
