What were building

Fintech platform serving 20000 users. Were handling real money building for scale and solving hard problems in payments and financial infrastructure.

What youll do

Build and maintain Django APIs powering our mobile app and internal tools
Design database schemas and write efficient SQL for financial transactions
Ship features end-to-end: from API design to production deployment
Work with Flutter React and PostgreSQL in a modern AWS stack
Deploy twice weekly via GitHub Actions with the team

What were looking for

1-2 years building production Python backends (Django or FastAPI)
Strong fundamentals: REST APIs databases async processing
Experience with financial systems payments or e-commerce is a plus
Comfortable with Git CI/CD and basic AWS services
Uses AI tools (Cursor Claude etc.) to move faster not as a crutch
Writes clean tested code that your teammates can maintain

Youll fit in if you

Ask good questions and think through edge cases
Take ownership of your work from design to deployment
Can balance moving fast with getting details right (crucial in fintech)
Collaborate well with mobile engineers QA and product
Are excited about fintech and building something people depend on
