Job Description Cold Head Operator
Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Cold Head Operator to set up and operate boltmaking machines in a growing qualityfocused manufacturing department. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Competitive benefits offered including medical dental vision life insurance and 401(k).
Essential Duties
- Set up and operate various Cold Head machines to produce highquality fasteners.
- Select and install proper tooling according to work instructions.
- Perform die changes tooling adjustments and machine setups.
- Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to resolve machine tooling and setup issues.
- Follow all Quality System procedures and OSHA safety regulations.
- Use precision measuring tools to perform inprocess inspections and verify part conformity to prints drawings and production travelers.
- Lift up to 60 lbs as required.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined with experience using hand tools and understanding units of measurement.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate documentation.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- 1 years of header or cold heading experience preferred but not required.
- PPE Required: Must have steeltoe shoes.

Schedule
- Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Weekends as needed
