We are seeking a Senior Capital Projects Leader to drive the execution of large-scale capital projects within its North American operations. This role will lead major projects (>$30MM) supporting chemical manufacturing facilities and strategic expansion initiatives.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring full project lifecycle ownershipfrom conceptual design through commissioning and operational handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional project teams to execute large capital projects (>$30MM USD).

Manage full project lifecycle including:

Conceptual design & cost estimation
-
Detailed engineering & funding approvals
-
Procurement & contractor selection
-
Construction & contractor oversight
-
Commissioning startup & operational turnover
- Oversee project scope schedules budgets and risk mitigation strategies.

Facilitate feasibility studies and vendor evaluations.
-
Develop Statements of Work (SOW) and technical specifications.
-
Provide executive-level reporting on milestones risks and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.

Lead and participate in:
-
HAZOPs
-
LOPA
-
MOC
-
PSSR
-
SIS implementation
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines including civil structural mechanical electrical and automation teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Chemical preferred).
- 1520 years of hands-on capital project management experience in chemical manufacturing environments.

Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction and greenfield project execution.

Deep understanding of OSHA Process Safety Management systems.
- Experience managing contractors across mechanical electrical instrumentation and civil trades.

Strong leadership analytical and communication skills.

Ability to present to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
