Job Summary

Are you a Physical Therapist ready to trade the fluorescent lights of a clinic for the freedom of the Texas road Our client is seeking Full-Time Physical Therapists to join their growing branches across Central and East Texas.

In this role you arent just treating an injury; you are a vital clinical leader helping patients reclaim their lives. By assessing patients in their own environment you can design truly functional recovery plans that address real-world challengesfrom navigating a Texas porch to safe movement in a home kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • In-Home Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine functional limitations and safety risks within the patients actual living space.
  • Functional Mobility Training: Design and lead therapeutic interventions focusing on transfers gait training and balance tailored to the patients home layout.
  • Case Management: Coordinate with an interdisciplinary pod including RNs Occupational Therapists and Physicians to ensure a holistic approach to recovery.
  • Safety Education: Teach patients and families how to utilize assistive devices and modify their environment to prevent re-hospitalization.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate real-time documentation (OASIS) using mobile-based EMR systems.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Active unencumbered Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Texas.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred).
  • Experience: 1 year of clinical PT experience required; previous home health experience is strongly preferred.
  • Travel: Must have a valid drivers license reliable transportation and active auto insurance.
  • Adaptability: A self-starter who is comfortable working independently and navigating various home environments.
