The Senior Fire Alarm Project Manager is responsible for leading complex fire alarm projects across mission critical facilities and large commercial environments. This role provides leadership to a Project Management team while overseeing delivery of fire alarm systems with a strong focus on Notifier platforms and VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems. The Senior Fire Alarm Project Manager ensures projects are executed safely on schedule and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a Project Management team supporting fire alarm systems projects
- Lead planning scheduling and execution of fire alarm systems utilizing Notifier platforms
- Oversee installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems in mission critical facilities
- Provide technical oversight for projects involving VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems
- Coordinate engineering field operations vendors and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Review drawings submittals and documentation in Bluebeam for fire alarm systems
- Manage budgets change orders and cost controls for Notifier and VESDA driven projects
- Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders across all fire alarm systems projects
- Promote and enforce strong safety practices on all job sites
Required Qualifications
- NICET FAS Level III (required)
- NICET FAS Level IV (preferred)
- Extensive experience with Notifier fire alarm systems in complex environments
- Strong experience supporting VESDA aspirating smoke detection systems
- Proven experience supervising installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems
- Experience supporting mission critical facilities and data center environments
- Strong understanding of fire alarm system design layout and coordination
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Excel and SharePoint
- Exceptional time management organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and job costing accuracy
- Demonstrated leadership in safety practices and awareness
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of Clean Agent Fire Suppression Systems and integration with fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with NFPA 72 NFPA 13 NFPA 2001 and AHJ requirements
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation to office and project sites
- Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials for mission critical facilities
- Comfortable working in active occupied and secured environments
- Ability to provide professional references upon request

- Manufacturer certifications related to Notifier fire alarm systems
- Advanced training or certification related to VESDA systems
- Experience with Fike or Kidde fire alarm systems
- Additional NICET certifications
- Experience working in hyperscale data centers or large commercial facilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $110000 $140000 per year DOE and certifications
