About the Role:

Lead multiple field crews oversee DOT and municipal projects ensure timely delivery within budget and grow client relationships. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of multiple field crews and office technicians.
- Oversee QA/QC budgets schedules and client expectations.
- Conduct roadway and utility corridor surveys in coordination with VDOT and local municipalities.
- Support regional business growth through proposals and client development.
- Mentor and coach staff through performance planning and one-on-one sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- Active PLS license (Professional Land Surveyor).
- 12 years of land surveying experience including 5 years supervising multiple crews.
- Extensive experience with DOT and municipal civil projects.
- Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of federal state and local survey regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Subsurface utility locating/designating experience.
- Experience with LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS operations.
- Bachelors degree in surveying or civil technology.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary $85000 $145000 based on experience and licensure.
- Sign-on bonus $5000 $10000 (relocation eligible).

- Typical workweek 4550 hours; office-based with periodic field visits.
Working Conditions:
