About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of multiple field crews and office technicians.
Oversee QA/QC budgets schedules and client expectations.
Conduct roadway and utility corridor surveys in coordination with VDOT and local municipalities.
Support regional business growth through proposals and client development.
Mentor and coach staff through performance planning and one-on-one sessions.

Required Qualifications:

Active PLS license (Professional Land Surveyor).
12 years of land surveying experience including 5 years supervising multiple crews.
Extensive experience with DOT and municipal civil projects.
Proficiency in Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of federal state and local survey regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

Subsurface utility locating/designating experience.
Experience with LiDAR aerial mapping or sUAS operations.
Bachelors degree in surveying or civil technology.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary $85000 $145000 based on experience and licensure.
Sign-on bonus $5000 $10000 (relocation eligible).

Typical workweek 4550 hours; office-based with periodic field visits.

Working Conditions:
