Work Day and Hours Work Days and Hours will vary between Monday Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM depending on students schedule

This is an ongoing internship located in Columbus OH. The selected candidate will ideally be able to work throughout the school year and summer for an average of 20 hours per week or less (with flexibility during the school semesters given class schedule and course load).

The pay rate for a college intern is based upon the students academic status:
Undergraduate student rate of pay - $16.93 per hour
Graduate student rate of pay - $20.59 per hour

What Youll Do as a College Intern:
Assist with OIU Timeline History Wall and Legacy Project
Assist with updates to OIU policy and forms
Assist with OIU postings for social media

To be eligible for an internship opportunity at the Ohio Department of Public Safety an applicant must:
Be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
Be in good standing with the college/university.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
Be enrolled in at least one course.
Be pursuing a degree or finishing a degree.

Enforces Ohios alcohol tobacco and SNAP fraud laws. OIU agents are sworn peace officers responsible for enforcing criminal violations that occur in relation to their investigative duties.
