Who we are looking for
The role ofaDesign Research Intern at Re:Build Tekna is to support the creation of human-centered product service and brand solutions by planning conducting analyzing and communicating research findings to build our collective confidence in design decisions. The role primarily focuses on understanding user needs behaviors and contexts and translating insights into actionable guidance. The intern will collaborate closely with other Researchers Industrial Designers UX/UI Designers Mechanical Engineers and Product and Project Managers throughout the design process.
What youll get to do
- Assistin planning and conducting of primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research including but not limited tointerviews observationssurveys andusability testing.
- Support synthesis of research findings into clear insights themes and opportunity areas.
- Create research artifacts such as interview guides end user personas journey maps and research summaries.
- Participate in collaborative design and research sessions (e.g. brainstorms or workshops) with cross-functional teams.
- Help communicate research findings through presentations reports and informal team discussions.
What you bring to the team
Working toward or completed:BA/BS degree program or higher in a relevant fieldwithdemonstratedapplication of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
Junior or Senior- level students (completed at least two years toward the stated degree).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity empathy and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
- Openness to feedback and a willingness to iterate on work in a collaborative professional manner.
