THE ROLE
The Commercial Analyst role sits within the Commercial teamatWiseEnergy.This is a broad commercial position focused on managing revenues regulatory matters and contractual issues for a portfolio of assets in the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strongcommercial and contractual background with in-depth knowledge of revenue management within the renewables sector.
While the primary focus is on managing assets in thePortuguesemarket the role will also support WiseEnergys broader portfolio of assets in other countries
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining solar plant compliance with contractual requirements including drafting and issuing formal notices/communications and ifrequired investigating non-compliance and resolution.
- Managing project company contract renewals and tendering.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand and strategically resolve technical issues applying commercial resolutions to technical issues throughraising insurance claims O&M or EPC breach notices and supporting the development of strong working relationships with project stakeholders to drive Availability and asset performance.
- Supporting Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) compliance and delivery.
- In coordination with the Finance team preparation of project revenue budgets and forecastsas well assupportthe development of assetoperating budgets.
- Managing the regulatory interface and compliance requirements alongside our submissionsfor project companies under management.
- Responsible for budget follow-up and management coordinating with the companys finance team the validation of costs and revenues.
- Supporting the companys in-house onboarding process for new sites with a specific focus on understanding contracts and working internally withWiseEnergysFinance and Technical teams to: ensure a seamless transition intoWiseEnergy; extraction of relevant information into the companysbespoke contract management software; supporting the creation of respective Onboarding Report and Operating Plans; and smooth management throughout the life of each respective agreement.
- Updating and continued development of the companys in-house Asset Management Platform (AMP) software as required working with Commercial teams in London Milan and Hyderabad as necessary and with the in-house Technology team.
- Supporting annual Asset Operating Plans with relevant contract management information and reviews.
- Reporting to the client and internally and externally as.
- Approving contractual invoices.
- Ad hoc commercial projects.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
To be successful in this role you willdemonstrate:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (in Englishand Portugueseor/and other European languages) -you must be able to organize your thoughts in a way that others find clear and compelling. You will be expected todraftwell-written grammatically correct emailspresentationsand other communications. When communicating verbally whether over the phone on video calls in person or in meetings you will need to bearticulateand engaging.
- Time management&prioritizationskills- the ability to effectivelymanage yourself and your workload is critical.
- Flexibility-being an effective team player means being flexible in your approach and open to getting involved with new things even if they are not spelled out in your job description.
- Delivery focus it may sound obvious but the ability toproactivelychurn through work at pace and deliver quality outputs really matters.
- ITliteracy- you need to be comfortable with IT systems and working with data particularlyExcel(intermediate-levelrequired)

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum2-3years in a similar level rolewith a strong background in revenue management and experience with US operations
- Bachelors degree inEngineeringor a related field with experience in revenue management
- Proven understanding of solar energy systems and its main components
- Regulatory property and contract knowledge
- Advanced standard MS Office suite notablyExcelWord PowerPointetc.
- Use of Power BI and Power Apps would be consideredadvantageous
