About The Company

Our client is a fast-growing YC-Backed AI research lab founded in 2024 with $4M in funding. They are building the critical data infrastructure that powers all 5 of the worlds leading AI labs.

The team is small (10 people) but elite with backgrounds from Google Meta Citadel Jane Street and Morgan Stanley. They are a young hungry group that treats each other like friends communicates openly and moves at breakneck speed to push the frontier of AI.

The Role

As a Founding Engineer you will be one of our first hires in the LATAM region. You wont just be closing tickets; you will own entire projects end-to-end and see your impact instantly.

What Youll Do:

Build Core Infrastructure: Design and scale complex data capturing workflows across both web () and desktop environments.
Handle Scale: Architect and optimize high-throughput data pipelines that can handle heavy loads.
Shape the Product: Collaborate directly with the founders to define product strategy and ship features fast.
Set the Standard: Establish engineering best practices and lay the groundwork for future team growth.

The Tech Stack

We need a true full-stack engineer who leans towards the backend and data engineering.

Languages: Python & TypeScript/JavaScript (Must be proficient in both).
Web Frameworks: React .
Infrastructure & Data: Kubernetes Kafka Redis Elasticsearch.
Cloud: AWS GCP.

Who We Are Looking For

Experience: 4 10 years of experience preferably as a backend or full-stack engineer.
Technical Depth: Demonstrated experience building full-stack applications and managing complex data workflows.
High Agency: You thrive in rigorous environments and are eager to take ownership.
Location: Based in LATAM and willing to work US (PST) hours.
