Whatyoullbe doing
- Configureimplementandoptimisetagstriggersand variablesin Google Tag Manager (web and app).
- Design tracking plans datalayersand measurement frameworks aligned toreal client businessoutcomes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve analytics issues using debugging and validation tools tomaintaindata quality.
- ConfigureGA4including custom events enhanced eCommercedashboardsand cross-domain tracking.
- Build andoptimiseSQL queries inBigQueryfor analysisreportingand data validation.
- Monitor analytics healthidentifyinganomalies and inconsistencies across platforms.
- Explore data to generate insight supporting experimentation reporting segmentation and commercial forecasting.
- Translate technical findings into clear actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
What does success look like
- Seamless analytics and tagging implementations usingGA4 and GTM deliveringaccurate decision-ready data. (Experience supporting digital experimentation is a bonus.)
- Well-documented tagging implementations QAprocessesand bug fixes delivered on time with minimal disruption.
- Powerful analytics and reporting workflows usingBigQuery SQL andLooker Studio (or similar)to uncover deeper business insights.
- Confidently equipping clients and internal teams with documentation training materials and clear data-journey mapping.
What werelooking for
- 2 years hands-on experience withGoogle Analytics (GA4)andGoogle Tag Manager (GTM).
- Experience usingSQL andBigQueryfor digital analytics and reporting.
- Working knowledge ofJavaScriptHTMLand CSSforcustom tagging.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for analytics implementations.
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with privacy consentmanagementand data regulation (GDPR CCPA).
- Datavisualisationexperience with Looker Studio PowerBIor Tableau.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Computer Science Mathematics ora relatedfield.
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager certifications (desirable).
- 23yearsrelevant experience in digital analytics tag management or similar roles.
