Role Definition
Material Planning Analyst
Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for supply chain management activities.
Responsibilities
Assisting in communicating with procurement material planning inventory distribution to minimize cost and improve efficiency.
Providing technical support and assistance on supply chain management.
Inputting data into supply chain application system; maintaining the system on a regular basis.
Collecting analyzing and reporting data on supply chain operation.

Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP): Knowledge of the processes practices and systems used in manufacturing requirements planning (MRP); ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles and ensure capacity and materials availability.

Describes product life cycle and associated MRP cycle.
