The Role
Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons

Supporting pupils with exam preparation and academic extension
Assessing pupil progress and providing clear constructive feedback
Contributing positively to the wider life of the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and collaborative approach
