Wayman Education is seeking a dedicated Physics Teacher to join a thriving Science department at a successful secondary school in Hillingdon. This is a school that prides itself on its STEM provision and is looking for a specialist who can inspire the next generation of engineers and scientists.
The Role
You will join a well-resourced department with a strong track record of success at GCSE and A-Level.
Curriculum Focus: Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a particular emphasis on stretching A-Level cohorts.
Practical Learning: Work alongside a dedicated Science Technician to deliver engaging safe and impactful laboratory experiments.
STEM Initiatives: Lead or contribute to extra-curricular clubs such as Robotics Astronomy or Engineering challenges.
Academic Achievement: Use data-driven strategies to ensure all students make outstanding progress particularly in Triple Science and A-Level Physics.
The Candidate
Subject Expertise: A degree in Physics Engineering or a related field combined with QTS.
A-Level Experience: Proven ability (or the clear potential) to teach Physics to Key Stage 5.
Communicator: The ability to explain abstract mathematical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.
Hillingdon-Based/Commuter: Ideally located within reach of Hillingdon or looking to move to this well-connected West London borough.
