The Role
Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 opportunities depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework NEA and project work
Encouraging creativity problem-solving and technical skills across a range of materials
Maintaining high standards of health and safety within workshops
Working collaboratively within a well-resourced and supportive DT department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge across one or more DT specialisms
High expectations for pupil behaviour engagement and achievement
A professional organised and positive approach to teaching
