Job Summary

The Role
Teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 opportunities depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured practical and theory-based lessons
Supporting pupils with coursework NEA and controlled assessments
Promoting safe working practices and maintaining high standards of hygiene and health & safety
Encouraging creativity independence and practical skills development
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced DT department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Food Technology Design & Technology or a related subject
Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil behaviour engagement and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
