The Role
Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons that promote deep understanding
Supporting pupils with practical work investigations and exam preparation
Encouraging scientific enquiry analytical thinking and curiosity about the natural world
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced Science department
Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive approach to teaching
