The Role
Leading and managing the Music department across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Driving high standards of teaching learning and assessment in Music
Developing an engaging and ambitious Music curriculum
Supporting and developing staff through mentoring and performance management
Overseeing concerts performances and wider enrichment activities
Managing departmental resources budgets and specialist equipment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level
Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a Head of Department role
A strong track record of raising standards and pupil outcomes
Excellent organisational communication and leadership skills
