Geography Teacher (ECT Opportunity) – Chesterfield, Derbyshire

A friendly and well-organised 1118 secondary school in the Chesterfield area is seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher of Geography to join its Humanities faculty. The Opportunity

You will teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 following a carefully structured curriculum that balances physical and human geography with strong geographical skills. Lessons emphasise enquiry real-world case studies and the development of confident written and verbal explanations.

Shared schemes of work assessments and resources allow you to focus on delivery questioning and student understanding. There is a strong emphasis on building fieldwork confidence over time with local studies and structured support to help ECTs develop this area of practice.
