We are an industrial company specialized in the manufacturing of components for electric hybrid and internal combustion vehicles. We are supported by 4000 employees across 6 countries operating in 13 production units and 3 engineering centers serving more than 100 customers.

Would you like to take on a key role in the planning and reliability of industrial maintenance at a leading plant in the sector Are you passionate about turning maintenance challenges into operational efficiency

At Draxton Atxondo we are looking to incorporate a professional to take on the role of Maintenance Technical Manager. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and reliability of industrial assets leading the maintenance team and transforming daily operations into sustainable improvements in safety efficiency and performance. This position reports to the Maintenance and Industrial Engineering Manager.


Main Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and develop the maintenance team overseeing their performance evaluation and coordination.

  • You will plan and supervise preventive predictive and corrective maintenance activities including technical shutdowns optimization of recurring breakdowns and monitoring of key performance indicators (downtime scrap cycle times KPIs).

  • You will coordinate improvement projects managing purchase orders spare parts inventory suppliers and technical documentation.

  • You will ensure legal and regulatory compliance in Occupational Health and Safety Environment Energy and Industrial Safety actively participating in committees audits and mandatory inspections.

  • You will promote a culture of safety energy efficiency and sustainability applying ISO 14001 ISO 50001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.

  • You will ensure order organization and 5S standards within the maintenance area guaranteeing compliance with internal procedures.

  • You will encourage training and the development of the teams technical knowledge.


To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in an industrial plant.

  • Full-time 100% on-site position. Monday to Thursday: flexible start time between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. with departure from 4:30 p.m. onwards. Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
