You will
Take ownership of sustainability certifications and related compliance processes for biofuels production at St1s biorefinery including authority reporting and regulatory follow-up.
Own and develop the greenhouse gas (GHG) calculation model for HVO production manage related calculations and contribute to development projects and operational GHG modeling.
Ensure alignment of GHG calculation methodologies across different parts of the HVO value chain at group level including sustainability mass-balance development and support processes.
Work in close collaboration with refinery operations technical supply and trading teams as well as external partners and train internal stakeholders on sustainability compliance requirements with production-specific expertise.
You are
An experienced professional with at least five years of relevant experience from biofuels energy chemical industry or industrial GHG modeling and strong skills in GHG modeling according to the EU Renewable Energy Directive (EU RED). Experience with other LCA methodologies is considered an advantage.
Knowledgeable about EU renewable energy regulation and sustainability certification schemes for biofuels (e.g. ISCC EU) with a solid technical understanding of HEFA conversion processes and HVO production seen as a strong asset.
Structured hands-on and comfortable taking ownership and responsibility with good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
A relevant university degree within a technical field such as chemistry chemical engineering industrial engineering or equivalent is expected.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish and curious committed and caring with a strong motivation to continuously learn and develop.

The position is located in Gothenburg Sweden or Helsinki Finland with frequent presence required at St1s refinery in Gothenburg. The role may also be considered for candidates based in Helsinki Finland. Please note that employment terms and benefits may differ depending on location.
