Job description:

The Project Manager at BDL is responsible for leading construction projects from pre-construction through close-out ensuring projects are delivered on time on budget and to BDLs quality standards. This role partners closely with field teams subcontractors vendors and internal leadership to maintain accountability communication and execution excellence across multiple active jobs.

This is a hands-on role that splits time between the field and office requiring strong organization follow-through and the ability to lead under changing conditions

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Projects are delivered on schedule with minimal rework or cost overruns
  • Field teams and subcontractors have clear direction and accountability
  • Clients feel informed confident and supported throughout the project lifecycle
  • Issues are identified early and resolved proactively
  • Documentation budgets schedules and change orders are accurate and up to date

OBJECTIVES

  • Manage assigned construction projects from kickoff through close-out
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules and track milestones
  • Coordinate daily and weekly activities with field supervisors
  • Manage subcontractor scope timelines and performance
  • Track project budgets job costs and variances
  • Prepare and manage change orders and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and site requirements
  • Conduct site visits and progress reviews regularly
  • Maintain clear documentation (RFIs submittals schedules logs)
  • Communicate project status to leadership and clients
  • Resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
  • Support continuous improvement of project processes and execution standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years of construction project management experience preferred
  • Experience managing residential and/or commercial projects
  • Proficiency with project tracking tools schedules and budgets
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites
