Were urgently seeking three top-tier Solar Troubleshooting Specialists to join our remote audit team on a critical project. This role focuses on high-level remote diagnostics and issue resolution for solar installations primarily using SolarEdge systems with exposure to Enphase and Tesla.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote audits and diagnostics to prevent costly truck rolls by fixing solar installation issues remotely.
- Review field installer photos post-install to identify issues such as faulty wiring structural mismatches or equipment glitches.
- Troubleshoot SolarEdge systems mastering current transformers (CTs) inverters and monitoring portals to optimize performance.
- Perform checks on roof conditions electrical setups and structural integrity; push resolved tickets to scheduling or funding teams.
- Support multiple teams by handling miscellaneous tickets and pre-install checks.
- Communicate effectively with engineers installers and stakeholders explaining complex fixes in simple terms.
- Demonstrate logical problem-solving skills to minimize truck rolls and enhance system reliability.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in the solar industry with a focus on troubleshooting and audits preferably with SolarEdge systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical and solar systems particularly how PV systems work end-to-end.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience is essential; candidates should provide narratives of past projects with measurable results.
- Technical depth in solar knowledge with emphasis on CTs inverters batteries and portal analytics.
- Strong communication and task agility with an ability to switch between audits tickets and team support efficiently.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Proven expertise in SolarEdge including familiarity with their equipment monitoring portal and troubleshooting workflows.
- Certifications are a significant plus (e.g. Residential Solar Certification Installer Certification or Battery Certification from SolarEdge).
- Experience with Enphase or Tesla systems is valuable.
- Ability to independently manage tasks from audit to resolution actively identifying risks in data and photos.
- Methodical problem-solving skills to address complex electrical or structural challenges.
