Job Summary
Responsibilities
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems machinery and tools.
Diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs on pumps valves compressors gearboxes and rotating equipment.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals.
Operate hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment status.
Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 35 years of experience in a similar role preferably in shipyard oil & gas or industrial settings.
Certification in rigging lifting or safety procedures is a plus.
