$19.45 - $29.20Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients lives every day As a Nurse Aide / Healthcare Technician you play a vital role on the care team by providing handson support to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role is ideal for individuals who value teamwork patient safety and highquality care and who take pride in creating a clean supportive and healing environment. You will maintain clinical and professional competencies while supporting the unique needs of the patient population you serve.
Support patients/residents with activities of daily living promoting comfort dignity and independence
Assist patients/residents with personal hygiene and grooming needs
Obtain and document vital signs including height and weight measurements
Feed and ambulate patients/residents in accordance with established procedures and care plans
Maintain patient/resident rooms in a clean safe and orderly condition
Observe recognize and promptly report changes in patient/resident condition to the Registered Nurse
Orient patients and families to the unit and provide instruction on safety measures
Assist with clerical and unit support functions including answering phones entering data and maintaining medical records
Maintain adequate stock levels of unit supplies through inventory management
Perform duties within the approved scope of Nurse Aide I or Nurse Aide II practice in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing task lists
Perform technical tasks with appropriate training such as administering 12lead electrocardiograms and routine venipuncture
Carry out all responsibilities in a safe manner while supporting a positive patient experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required per policy guidelines
