Whats the role

As the Regional General Manager for Corporate Agribusiness you will lead the strategy growth and performance of Westpacs Corporate Agribusiness team setting the direction for the team and empowering bankers to deliver exceptional outcomes for major agribusiness customers.

Youll bring a strong commercial and strategic lens to the role identifying and shaping opportunities across some of Australias most sophisticated agribusiness enterprises. Your leadership will elevate market presence deepen client relationships and enable your bankers to originate highvalue opportunities that align with customer needs and Westpacs broader strategic priorities.

Youll focus on driving growth strengthening capability and building disciplined deal pipelines across the corporate agribusiness segment. Using dataled insights and deep industry understanding you will guide your team to step into emerging markets structure complex transactions and build longterm value for customers and the bank.

This is a full-time role and can be based in any Australian capital city such as Sydney Melbourne Brisbane Perth Adelaide Darwin Hobart or Canberra.

What do I need

  • A people first leadership style and experience coaching or leading relationship and or Commercial/Agribusiness banking teams
  • Strong commercial focus with a genuine interest in corporate and agribusiness customers and their industries
  • Sound understanding of credit risk portfolio management and compliance in a regulated environment
  • A track record of lifting business performance while keeping customers at the centre of decisions
  • Confidence building trusted relationships with customers your team and colleagues across risk product and operations
