About the Role DFYNE Your Career:

First off its best I introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here) its not the norm on a job role spec but I feel its important you get introduced to who you may be working with for a long time early on. Im Oscar the CEO & founder of DFYNE Im looking for someone whos going to help me take DFYNEs Cyber Security to the next level.

Were growing quickly and with that growth comes a huge need to strengthen our cybersecurity foundations.

Were looking for someone with a strong background in cyber security whos ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership based role.

Theres no requirement for you to have previously led a team but you should be confident in owning tasks driving initiatives continuous improvement and managing security responsibilities day to day.

This is a hands on role where youll be involved in monitoring detection vulnerability management compliance and helping shape our internal security culture. As you grow youll take on more responsibility and become a key player in our security strategy. Think of this as the role where you shift from doing cybersecurity to leading and developing our cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor analyse and respond to security alerts across tools and systems
• Support vulnerability assessments and help drive remediation with engineering teams
• Contribute to incident response processes and take ownership of smaller incidents
• Assist with security compliance efforts (policies audits data protection)
• Champion secure practices across the organisation through training and guidance
• Help evolve and improve DFYNEs security processes documentation and standards

Experience Needed:

We dont hire based only on experience but for this role a strong background in cybersecurity is desirable.

Skills:

• Security operations or monitoring
• Incident handling or analysis
• Networking cloud fundamentals or access management
• Security tooling (SIEM vulnerability scanners EDR)
• Exposure to compliance or security frameworks
